Gas prices just shot up this week to 97.7 cents a litre! This is absolutely ridiculous! Toronto isn't that high! When it comes to this our city is constantly getting screwed on gas prices. I'm so sick of this stupid monopoly of all these big fat rich men getting richer. As a race we are insanely stupid that we allow this to go on and on and on.
Seriously someone should come up with an alternative energy source for cars and bring down these big companies. Personally I would rather walk everywhere then give them any more money. If everyone in this city stopped buying gas for a week the stations would have to drop their prices. But no one here is willing to give up the convenience for that long. So the big fat rich gas assholes keep getting richer and can make gas cost as much as they want. Hell why don't they just make it a $100/litre! Maybe then the rest of the damn city would get up and do something about this. 1 person certainly can't make a difference in this situation.
It's another crummy gray and cool day in the bay. Not exciting at all. I think the week-end is going to be the same. May long is next week-end but the weather will probably be the same and I have to work anyway so who cares. I think this summer is going to be completely miserable if the weather and my work schedule is any clue.
